I am grateful this day for the rain that sustains me     for the sun that nurtures me, for the wind that buffets me.  I wish to give back more than I take from this world, value more than that which is has been given me and shore up that which has always endured me.…

I am grateful this day for the rain that sustains me

    for the sun that nurtures me, for the wind that buffets me.

 I wish to give back more than I take from this world,

value more than that which is has been given me

and shore up that which has always endured me.

May I always gaze at the stars and feel joy

for my minuscule part in the limitless universe.

  1. Awesome. Except I don’t like wind. I can’t think clearly when it is really windy.

    1. Come to this coast, where Santa Ana can’t get you. Of course then you’ve got hurricanes…

      1. That would be bad for my thinking.

      2. The nice thing about hurricanes is you get several days warning to get out of their way. I’ll take a hurricane over a tornado any day.

      3. What about earthquakes.

      4. You can have those.

      5. Well… we do… so…
