I read about what he said yesterday. I agree with you. You don’t have to believe in God to be a good person and do the right thing. You just have to believe in doing the right thing. Robertson is sick. I also think the people that hire him for a speech are sick too, as they know what kind of stuff he will come up with. So of course they hire him to get their names out there too.

And the sad thing is, the people in the crowd applauded his speech. Who does that?

It makes me feel sad for the human race. It really does.

I don’t want to read whatever he said because I don’t want it rattling around inside my brain. That said, I agree: we don’t need a religion to know the right thing to do. A lot of what is truly wrong in the world today is because of the dogma-based fanatics of all religions.

Yeah, believe me, if you’re the rattling around inside your brain type, this is DEFINITELY not something you want in there…

I love when people act like religion always makes people more moral… despite all the evidence to the contrary

It must be comforting to think there’s some kind of magic pill that will make you be good.

I guess all the horrible things done in the name of religion since the beginning of time never happened? This argument infuriates me! I think the voice Ol’ Phil is hearing is not god but his own delusions…

He’s clearly not the brightest light in the universe, whether God created that universe or not.
