There’s Actually a World Bodypainting Festival

Okay, I’m delighted. I just found out that there was a World Bodypainting Festival on July 4^th in Poertschach, Austria. I didn’t even know this festival existed, but it’s been going on for 18 years. Yet more evidence that I don’t know everything.

This is a festival that ought to be hosted by Seattle some year. It would fit right in with the quirky, artistic vibe in this area. I’d definitely attend.

I love art in general, but I REALLY love colorful work on a unique canvas, especially when it’s presented with a sense of humor, and makes you look at the world in a different way. To see more of the stunning images from this year’s event, go here. But I will post two of my favorites below.
