Pretty low to dog on a dog. I think they are as close to unconditional love as you can get. We could learn a lot from them,
they are angels in fur.-
That’s exactly what I call them! They’re not speaking to me today though, because I gave them a bath.

and most importantly they give unconditional love. One rarely finds this kind of love in humans.

Sad but true.

whoever said that to you about dogs obviously doesn’t know dogs. They have feelings, they feel hurt, scared, happy, content, love and hate. Just like humans, the only difference is the language. The person that tells you what they did about dogs or animals in general doesn’t know their ass from a hole in the ground.

I agree. But it does make you think. Where does love begin and end? Fascinating to contemplate. A friend of mine suggested it ends with fear.

I’m not sure it does end with fear, as some people still love despite fear being present. I think it ends with the absence of empathy.

Loving in the presence of fear is not at all healthy. Everyone deserves to feel safe, always. But yes, the absence of empathy… that makes a great deal of sense.

Sounds like my first marriage……

Well, then I’m glad you’re no longer in it!
