Is it me, or are some scandals not particularly scandalous? Maybe it’s because things seem to be moving faster than ever before on the information highway, but it seems as though the vast majority of news these days is filler. Empty calories. Not particularly beneficial to one’s wellbeing.
Here are just a few things I’m indifferent to, annoyed by, or am just sick of hearing about:
- Donald Trump’s Hair.
- Anything that emerges from Donald Trump’s pie hole.
- Who wore what where.
- The way I ought to look and what to do about it.
- The way I ought to feel and what to do about it.
- How someone behaved at a party, movie set, or on a red carpet.
- All efforts to get the one percent to behave decently.
- Who the president neglected to salute.
- Every single solitary commercial, advertisement, junk mail or spam.
- Benghazi.
- Who someone chooses to love.
- 15 signs that you’re ___________.
- Why your religious beliefs are superior to someone else’s.
- Actually, your religious beliefs, full stop.
- Anything from Fox News or CNN.
- Who has tweeted whom and said what.
- Descriptions of the newest product that I’m not supposed to be able to live without.
- Anything sports related.
- Vampires.
- The latest determination that some type of food is unhealthy.
- Computer virus warnings.
- The newest release from Apple.

Not your fault…it’s just an automatic reaction to all things Trump. Starts with a shudder…then nausea takes over…about the time irritation sets in I remind myself he’s just a loud man wearing a dead cat hat…and I get on with my life.
What scares me most is that there are so many people who seem to support him. Can this nation truly be that idiotic?

But they are determined. And single minded. Those are admirable qualities when you’re not trying to eat people’s brains.

I don’t think Zombies care whether your brain is good or not. I am determined but I’m usually of two minds…and for a Zombie that’s like a bonus second helping. Thank goodness they’re easy to kill… 🙂
Have you counted the number of reality shows (another one for your list) this nation consumes daily? And what’s scarier is many of our children are being raised on this idiocy… some of Trumps popularity/recognition comes from the reality show he did but I have a feeling his $ is paying to create the illusion of far more support than is the reality.
Hope you’re right. And hope he doesn’t find a way to pay for votes.
