   I didn’t realize you did cross-stitch. When I was home from college sophomore year, I bought a dish towel cross-stitch kit not knowing to use only two strands. Needless to say, it was a mess! You did a beautiful job on the two stockings.

      Thank you! I don’t do much anymore. My eyes aren’t what they used to be. But I did stockings for my niece and nephews, and I did a huge, detailed skirt for my Christmas tree. I used to do crewel work and crochet and somewhere I have a half started rag rug. I’d love to do quilts like you, but I suspect my follow-through would be sub-par.
