21 Sleep Tricks Revisited

There’s a lot to lose sleep over these days.

I’m sitting here at work having only had 3 hours of sleep last night. I’m not living my best life. I’m going to have to slap my face continually in order to drive home without nodding off when this shift is done.

My body gets so confused at this time of year. I drive to work in the dark, and then when the sun finally decides to rise, it sets again before 5 pm. I’ll never get used to that. And then there’s the stress of the holidays. It’s easy to get overwhelmed. And then I start doing a mind grind. That makes it virtually impossible to get to sleep.

But a thought managed to breach my mental fog, and it’s one that I have rather frequently, to wit: “I think I’ve blogged about this once before.”

And sure enough, I have. This post is from waaaay back in August 2016, before many of us realized that the world would soon turn to shit. There’s even more to lose sleep over these days.

It’s funny. I had forgotten about many of the sleep tricks mentioned in that post. So when I get home, I’m going to try taking my own advice.

If you struggle to get enough sleep like I do, please hop on over to my post entitled 21 Sleep Tricks. If you don’t find at least one idea that works for you, then I’m sorry, but you’re doomed.

Joke.

Sweet dreams, dear reader!

Or here’s another idea: Maybe reading my book will send you to sleep with an attitude of gratitude. You never know. It could happen. http://amzn.to/2mlPVh5
