Donald Trump has gone way beyond too far, and we need to send s strong message to him and to the rest of the world that his behavior is not acceptable to us, and will no longer be tolerated by the American people. He has taken us down an outrageous, disrespectful path, and to get his attention, we need to respond in kind.
The president will be addressing Congress on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025. Let’s urge our Congressmen to rise up en masse and walk out the moment Trump steps up to the podium. He is not behaving like a president, so we should not recognize him as such.

For Democratic Congress Members:
The president will be addressing Congress on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025. He is not behaving like a president, so we should not recognize him as such. When he reaches the podium, I urge you and your colleagues to STAND UP AND EXIT THE ROOM.
This will send a strong message to Trump and to the wider world that, like the people you represent, you are horrified by this man’s outrageous behavior. He is a disgrace to the presidency, and he is destroying our foreign relations, which endangers us all. He is an embarrassment to this country, and can no longer be tolerated.
Please do what we all want to do. Turn your back on this man. STAND UP FOR US. Thank you.
If You are Represented by a Republican and Wish to Make Contact:
I believe that you first entered politics because you believed in democracy. Please demonstrate that by not allowing our democracy to be destroyed. I think you realize that this has gotten out of hand. I understand what a scary, precarious position you find yourself in, but you still have a chance to do the right thing. The people will have your back if you do so.
Please, when the president addresses Congress on Tuesday, March 4th, do not give him any support. If you want to show that Republicans value integrity, you will not allow this president’s outrageous behavior to continue. If you stand up and leave when he starts to speak, you will regain my respect, but at the very least, do not applaud him, and do not look at him.
Stop adding fuel to his fire before it’s too late. Please stand up for us. Thank you.
