On the riverside in east Wenatchee there’s a big rock sticking up that looks like an iron set up on its base. It always intrigued me. A geologist I corresponded with a few years back told me that it had slid down from the hills above. Glad I wasn’t in the way. Someday I’ll get a closer look at it.
When I was a kid, the parental units took me to the Aplets and Cotlets factory. I found that stuff “meh”. Never had Turkish Delight, so can’t compare.
Hang in there–you’ll get to Italy yet, I suspect.-
I think I saw that rock! Very interesting. And I hope you’re right, about Italy.
